I've never trusted anyone who looks finished. The people worth knowing usually carry some part that didn't come out the way it was supposed to - visible or not - and that's exactly the part you remember.

This bag follows the same rule. I didn't leave the leather smooth and obedient; I stamped it by hand until it looked scratched, weathered, a little defiant - a pattern that exists on this one piece only and won't be repeated. Grey, with a copper shimmer that shifts depending on how the light catches it.
