That is what growing up is. Some relationships stay too small on you, and some bags stay too big.
You learn to stop bleeding in plain sight while you go out a little further on every day you tell yourself that this is fine.
Life lays its moments out neatly, like boundary stones. Most of them you carry on your own back, and you arrange them the way you think they would look best along your road. And although you trip over them constantly, you rearrange them with the patience of Sisyphus.
People are more fragile than they look. They break in the places nobody looks at, arranging the stones in their path with mountains of tears held back under the eyelids.
And then the world starts to hold you too tightly.
When your arms are already pressed under the weight of the stones, where would a big bag full of other heavy things fit? There is no room left for more weight.
That is exactly what I made this for. It is worn quietly. Room for a phone and for your cards, and nothing else. Until the next ones arrive, unannounced, like a wave that asks no permission.
I painted the leather myself, with heat and pressure. The phone pouch is 18 cm high, 10 wide and 3 deep, so any phone fits, however large. The small piece on the chain holds three cards.
All in their own time. But not always in yours.
One in the world. Cut, stitched and finished by Alexandra, in Arad.
If you don't fight for what you want, you deserve what you get.
